In the hills and Kathmandu Valley, listings commonly use Ropani and Aana. In the Terai, Kattha and Dhur are common. Sajilo Ghar Jagga converts both through square feet, so you can compare like for like.

Before you compare
Check whether a listing quotes total land area, built-up floor area, or an apartment’s saleable area. These are different measurements. Match the advertised area against the survey documents before making a decision.
